Responding to an Ageing Society
Course Overview
By 2041, nearly one in every three people in Hong Kong will be aged 65 or above. Are we as prepared as we think for our ageing society of the future? An ageing population creates greater demands on social security, healthcare and elderly services. This program consists of a series of inter-connected seminars on topics of special interest to an ageing society. It will examine specific manifestations in Hong Kong and their implications for policy-making. This unique course gathers the world’s top minds on each of the pressing issues and enables in-depth discussions in small-class settings. It sets the stage for deeper understanding and forward thinking on the contexts in which leaders and policy-makers operate in an increasingly complex world.
