IPP welcomes Dr ZHANG Guangnan, Director and Professor of Center of Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macao Regional Studies, Institute of Guangdong Hong Kong and Macao Development Studies and Center for Studies of Hong Kong, Macao and Pearl River Delta in Sun Yat-sen University, as Adjunct Professor.
Dr Zhang has involved in several research projects on effects of economic influence of infrastructure and has contributed in several policy research projects hosted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Research Project, the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and other institutional research units. He has given substantial political comments and advice for National Policy on development of the Greater Bay area.
As Adjunct Professor of IPP, Dr Zhang will play a major role to contribute to the development of the research projects and other activities related to the Greater Bay Initiative, and building institutional linkage between HKUST and Sun Yat-sen University with regard to collaboration on policy research.
