PPOL and SOSC Prof. Stuart GIETEL-BASTEN commented on China’s new three-child policy in media interviews, saying while the policy shift removes a clear inconsistency in the concerns over low fertility with restrictions on births at the same time, the policy alone will not be able to address the structural problem of China’s population.
