Program Overview

The HKUST Leadership and Public Policy Series aims to provide a new generation of globally minded leaders in government, corporate and nonprofit sectors with the contexts and analytical tools they need to tackle the most pressing issues in public policy. Our executive program on Innovation Centers – What Does it Take? consists of a series of inter-related and interactive seminars on different topics of special interest to the region, from an overview of what makes Silicon Valley the hotbed  of innovation to the phenomenal rise of Korea, Singapore and Taiwan as global powerhouses of innovation, and to the exciting developments  in mainland China and Hong Kong in the internet age. The program brings home the wisdom of the world's leading experts and innovative practitioners to stimulate bolder thinking among decision-makers about creating ecosystems that foster innovation.
