Leadership & Public Policy Programs

Designed for senior executives and those who aspire to become the next generation of leaders to better serve society.

About LAPP

The HKUST Leadership and Public Policy Programs are designed for senior executives and those who aspire to become the next generation of leaders to better serve society.

Our programs aim to provide a new generation of globally minded leaders in government, corporate and nonprofit sectors with the context and analytical tools they need to tackle the most pressing issues in public policy. Participants will learn the latest research and thinking on public issues and participate in rigorous and interactive sessions on ways to address leadership issues.

Programs run in flexible formats — themed series of weekly one-day programs, week-long programs, public forums, and small seminars — and are offered as both open-enrolment and customized programs.

Past programs

Our executive education programs consist of thematic series of small seminars to enable deep and candid discussions in an intimate setting — emphasising critical thinking, analytical frameworks, comparative perspectives, and evidence-based approaches to policy issues.

01

Open Enrolment Programs

A platform for in-depth discussion of various concerns and hot policy issues faced by government, market and society in the public domain — delivered as thematic series of small seminars, public lectures, or open forums. Applications are accepted on a rolling, space-available basis.
